Banja Vrdnik is located 20 kilometers from the city of Novi Sad and 74 kilometers from Belgrade, on the southern slopes of "Fruška gora" on the territory of the first National Park of Serbia.
Here, among the picturesque nature, are the Thermal Sanatorium on thermal springs and the hydropathic center for the musculoskeletal system: arthrosis of the joints, spondylosis of the spine, lumbar and cervical syndrome, acute rheumatism and in remission, after a fracture with soft tissue damage.

Thermal sanatorium Vrdnik is located in an ideal place (240m above sea level), it is characterized by a moderate continental climate with a large number of sunny days a year and the absence of strong winds and cold air masses.

The beneficial effect of the thermal water of the Vrdnik Spa has been known since the 3rd century. The first healing properties of water were discovered by miners who stood in the mines for hours in the water coming from the limestone cracks and overtime began to notice that the pain in the bones decreased and the wounds on their legs began to heal faster.
